How much is the shipping charge, and how long until I get my order?
We are shipping all orders for one low cost of $4.95. After you place your order it will usually ship by the
next business day. We use United States post office priority mail. Most orders are received with in two
to three business days. Sorry, we do not ship internationally.
How long do the heating pads stay warm?
Our Bag of gold corn bags stay warm for about an hour out in the open. In bed they will stay warm for 3
hours. Our heating wraps (RiveraWrap &Tortilla Wrap) stay warm for 20 minutes, and can be re-heated
over and over again if you need additional heat therapy. They are made for quick intensive heat therapy
to relieve aches and pain. Most therapists will recommend heat therapy treatments for 15 to 20 minutes,
three to four times a day time. Seek advice from you doctor or therapist as to how many times a day
and how long you should use heat therapy.
Are the heating pads washable?
Our bag of gold heating pads come with a removable cotton flannel cover that are washable. Our
heating wraps are made with durable denim and do not need to be washed as long as you keep them in
a safe dust free place. The inside pad of the "bag O gold" and our heating wraps are not submersible
in water, and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. We recommend that you store them in a dust free place
when you are not using them.
How long do they last?
Depending on how much you use them they can last one to many years, providing you take good care of
them. Microwave heating pads are very economical; they can be used over and over again and they
also last a very long time. They cost less than pennies to use!
Do you add fragrances?
No, we do not add any herbs or scented oils. The heating pads naturally have a nice hint of popcorn or
rice smell to them.
Should I buy popcorn or rice?
We carry both types of filling because some people have a preference. The rice gives a nice moist
heat, while the popcorn has a nice beaded feel to it. Some people worry that the popcorn can pop,
however, if the timer on the microwave is set, it can not happen. Our Corn bags are filled with dryer /
dried feed corn and there is no chance of it popping because it is a different type of corn.
