| Corn or Rice microwave heating pad? Both corn and rice fill give off a wonderful moist heat. Rice has a little more moisture than the corn, but the corn has a nice beaded feel to it. Some people are worried to use popcorn thinking it may pop, but the truth is, you have to leave it in the microwave way too long in order for that to happen. You need to set the timer when using the corn wrap, or the rice wrap. It doesn't really matter which you choose for heat quality they are both wonderful. We do not use flax seed or wheat because they can catch fire easily in the microwave.
